About Speaker: Arun Shourie has received several national and

international awards including Padma Bhushan, Magsaysay Award,

Dadabhai Naoroji Award, Astor Award, International Editor of the Year

Award, etc. He has been acclaimed as one of "World Press Freedom

Heroes" by the International Press Institute, a "Star of Asia" by

Business Week and "Business Leader of the Year" by the Economic Times

jury. He is one of India's most respected ministers--at home and

abroad and took on vested interests inside and outside the Congress

Party-led government, "There is an infinite opportunity in India," he

says. "But society is much more creative than the state." In two short

years, Shourie has already proved that--and then some.
